Electrical Permits
According to the 2014 NEC, 2014 NEC (National Electrical Code), all electrical work must be performed by a Kentucky Licensed Electrical Contractor who employees at least one Kentucky Licensed Master Electrician. Electrical work must be inspected and approved by the Marshall County Electrical Inspector. Permits are obtained by the electrical contractor directly from the inspector or by contacting the office. The electrical inspection fees are based on the dollar value of the electrical contract.
