Marshall County Parks Department
The Marshall County Parks Department strives to provide an environment conducive to leisure activities, recreational opportunities for total family enjoyment, unique trails for walking enthusiasts, and facilities that are clean, safe, and well maintained, all of which meet or exceed the expectations of the community and the Fiscal Court. Marshall County is home to Mike Miller County Park and several day use parks.

Mike Miller County Park

Marshall County’s first full amenities park, Mike Miller County Park, opened to the public in September 2000, after approximately four and one half years of planning, design, and construction. Named after the late Marshall County Judge Executive Mike Miller, the 80-acre park is home to a variety of facilities that offer a multitude of recreation opportunities.

Rocky Point Park

Rocky Point Park is located 3 miles off of Highway 1422 (Tatumsville Highway) on Highway 1068 N. in Benton, KY. This facility has one pavilion with picnic tables, one portable bathroom, a single boat ramp and courtesy dock. This park has no lighting or electrical hookups.

Buckhorn Bay Park

Buckhorn Bay Park is located 5 miles off of Highway 68 E. on Highway 936 (Moors Camp Road) in Benton, KY. This facility has two pavilions with picnic tables, charcoal grills, a playground with additional picnic area, and a double boat ramp and courtesy dock. This park has limited lighting available.

Big Bear Park

Big Bear Park is located 3.5 miles off of Highway 68 E. on Highway 58 (Big Bear Road) in Benton, KY. This facility has two pavilion with picnic tables, a playground with additional picnic area, charcoal grills, two portable bathrooms, and a double boat ramp and courtesy dock. This park does have lighting.

Birmingham Point

Birmingham Point Park is located 5.2 miles off of Highway 68 E. on Highway 962 (Barge Island Road) in Benton, KY. This facility has one portable bathroom, double boat ramp and courtesy dock, and some lighting.

Lakeland Wesley Village Park

Lakeland Wesley Village Park is located 1.5 miles off of Highway 68 E. on CR1134 (Village Road). This facility has two pavilions with charcoal grills, a large fishing pier, and a concrete walking trail. There is no lighting or electrical hookups available.

Jonathan Creek Boat Ramp

The Jonathan Creek Boat Ramp is located on Highway 68 E., 3 miles West of Aurora, KY. This facility has one portable bathroom and a double boat ramp and courtesy dock. There is limited lighting available.

Little Jonathan Creek Boat Ramp

Little Jonathan Creek Boat Ramp is located on Highway 80 E. between Hardin, KY and Aurora, KY. This facility has one portable bathroom and a single boat ramp and courtesy dock. There is no lighting available at this facility.

Haddock’s Ferry Park

Haddock’s Ferry Park is located on Highway 1523 in Calvert City, KY. This facility has a pavilion with picnic tables and a single boat ramp into the Tennessee River. This park does not have lighting or electrical hookups.
