Refuse Department

The Marshall County Refuse District provides for the primary collection and disposal of household solid waste for Marshall County. Nine transfer stations are available for your convenience throughout the county, in addition to our main facility located at 837 Benton-Briensburg Rd in Benton. All ten location accept bagged household garbage only, No building materials, shingles or tires please.

Spring and Fall Clean-Up
Twice a year, the Refuse Department coordinates a Spring and Fall Clean-up event at their main location. This is your opportunity to dispose of those items not normally accepted by the Refuse Department. Dates will be announced closer to the event.Waste Tire Collection Program
Approximately every three years, the Refuse Department works with the Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet to collect unwanted tires for recycling.
